1Can you give seamoss to children
You most certainly can. Seamoss is safe and suggested for infants and children. We would suggest starting with half a teaspoon and then gradually a full one. It will help your child get the essentials minerals and support their immune system.
2Can you freeze seamoss
You absolutely can. Moss daily advise freezing your seamoss to prevent wastage; especially if you buy in bulk. We recommend using your frozen seasmoss within 3-6 months after freezing.
3How much is delivery
Our delivery charge is a flat rate of £4.95. All orders are sent via royal mail first class signed for. You can purchase up to 2 jars per order.
4Can you eat
With seamoss gel you must remember that a little goes a long way; and just like with most things too much of anything is not good. Moderation is key and we recommend sticking to the recommended dosage of 1-2 tbs per day for adults and up to 1 tsp for children. Seamoss is high in iodine and too much iodine can cause thyroid disorders.
5How do I take seamoss?
There are many ways to take seamoss - you can choose to either add to your tea, stew, smoothies, soups or apply it to your skin or hair as a a mask. You can also eat it straight out of the jar on a spoon.
6How long does it take to arrive
Please allow 1-2 working days from dispatch date which is always on a Wednesday excluding bank holidays.
7What is the shelf life of seamoss gel
Between 10-14 days refrigerated and 6 months frozen.
8My seamoss gel looks like liquid/leaked through the jar
It is very normal for your gel to lose its "gel like form' during shipping. All Sea Moss Gel products should be placed in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the gel to form to the correct consistency. Sea Moss gel can only be in transit for a maximum of 72hours after this the contents will fully turn to liquid and leak through the jar. It's very important that you track your shipment to ensure there is someone at the shipping address to accept your order.
9What kind of water do you use to make your seamoss gel
We use distilled water.
